Fast-paced, suspenseful read. Features 4 sisters, one of whom is in denial that she has the hots for the super good looking Secret Service agent her life gets entwined with. Twice the author gets a bit unrealistic, first with a ghostly apparition of a murder victim, and secondly with the notion that the main female is apparently only in love once, but the guy has not only gotten around before dating her, but cheated on her previously in their relationship, but she is expected to forgive and accept. Hmmm. Nice twists and generally good plot. Lots of violence and one steamy love scene.

Availble to me through Sync, this is one book that was so different from any others I've read. You truly wonder how the character will deal with his state in life, where it will take him, how he will grow or fail. The personalities, attitudes and general characterizations of the characters surely must ring a bell with the young adult reader. I hope the movie is as successful as the book.
