Kelley Armstrong is coming to speak to the WNYRW in November, so I wanted to read one of her books. Dime Store Magic was recommended by our in-group Armstrong specialist. I thought it was fab - amazing world building and some fascinating ideas and concepts. Not enough romance for me, but I'm a big perv and it isn't a romance. I'm definitely hooked and will read the first books in the series to catch up.

This book was chosed by Pam Westrope 2005. It was a great book and I really enjoyed it. The heroine was really a progressive woman for her time. Strong minded and independant, not afraid to speak her mind. Excellent read.
