Have I read this before? Certain parts seemed INSANELY familiar: when she shows up at the party in the white dress, the fire at the end. But other parts I didn't remember at all: the inquest, the actual THING that happened, the meeting of Max and the main character. I can't say that I thought this book was great, but it wasn't bad either.

Sommige dingen vond ik wel een klein beetje voorspelbaar, zoals de Kluis der Zielen, de relatie tussen Eragon en Arya en het uitkomen van de groene draak. Wat ik erg leuk vind is dat het verhaal wordt geschreven vanuit verschillende gezichtspunten. Je leeft het ene hoofdstuk mee met Eragon, het andere met Roran, Arya of Nasuada. Goede beschrijvingen van de gevechten, ik kan alles zo voor me zien. Al met al een goed einde aan de lange avonturen van Eragon en Saphira!

I had this book recommended to me by someone and at first I thought..."No, sorry I'll never be able to get into a book that is based on total fantasy, fantasy creatures fantasy lands..it just isn't for me" Well Never say NEVER because I truly liked this book. It was well written it is well thought out has a definite direction. The characters both main and secondary are extremely easy to like...the villains are bad as they should be...I am on book two and zipping through that as well. I won't retell the storyline as you can read that on the book blurb, just want to state my opinion. I am happy I tried this book and didn't stick to my preconceived notions about pure fantasy romance.

I liked it better than the first one, mostly because I understood the series' world better. I also enjoyed sarcastic hostage/hostage taker banter between the two. I laughed outloud towards the end when she finally agreed to the blood exchange, I'm smiling just thinking about.
