Pretty disappointing. I bought the book based on Robinson's excellent speech at a TED conference- link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iG9CE5... - but he's just not that good a writer. He covers a lot of ground in his attempt to explore creativity in business, education, etc...but he takes on a lot more than he can explain well. After every chapter, I had tons of questions about angles that he never covered, like the economic utility of his ideas and the links between his thoughts and modern brain science. Whereas he was able to gloss over these issues in his speech, with his sense of humor and quick pace, his sluggish writing style brought them to the forefront.

A very sweeet book, published in 1939, about a young English girl who travels back to Elizabethean England of the late 1500's. Her portal is the manor farm her family has been connected to for generations. When she is on the farm, the connection between the times blurs and she moves back and forth. Very interesting to learn about the Babbington plot to rescue mary Queen of Scots. I wish I had discovered this book when I was 9 or so.

** spoiler alert ** Almost Like Those Typical Sent to an Academy Book . Almost . At first i got confused with the story line though it all got through and i understanded . It got me excited for what was gonna happen next . I Love Each of The Characters , each of their personalities are different and unique . I wonder what's gonna happen now that Zoey is the leader of the dark daughters and that she discovered a few things . This book is now one of my favorite vampire books ! <3
