This a supposedly an autobiography, although I'm sure there has been some embellishment due to the outrageousness of some episodes. Also, the author claims to have been high as a kite much of the time, which makes me wonder how she managed to remember so much! However, it's a fascinating story, and just about worth reading. The writing style leaves a lot to be desired, with quite a bit of rambling. Finally, and this is probably the book's worst aspect, this is a story of redemption but the author describes many of her lawless episodes with pride, which gives it all a bit of a hollow ring.

Catching Fire is still my favorite of the trilogy, but massive props to Collins for keeping the suspense and plot twists flying in this final installment. Definitely a great trio of books for my vacation reading.

This was my first foray into psychotic sereal killer resding. I am only sorry that I saw the movie (excellent) before discovering the book. I really felt like Clarice going down the hallway to Lecter's cell. All the scary psychos making noise and talking to me among other things.

This book was OK. But I DID like how it ended. We should all make a list of things we want to do with our own lives. It is easy to let time slip away and then be bummed you never got to....go to go to Europe or go swimming with the dolphins...or whatever you have always dreamed of doing. I want to make a list right now....it could make life just a bit more interesting!
