I was worried that I had already read this one and would just be rereading it, but I'm happy to say that it was a completely new read, and the three years since I read the third book didn't seem to matter. Nonetheless, my review probably hasn't changed since then: what a lovely book! What great ideas and characters! And, as usual, Razo is my favorite.

10*****stars Is it even possible to rate a book 10***** stars? I have to double the ratings for this book because it was deliciously good. Also what a sexy cover. Christina is a classy gold digger, but not by choice. Her mother has always instilled in her to marry wealthy. Christina has had disappointment after disappointment with men, and to make matters worse, her sister is marrying a well off doctor and she is a little jealously. At her sister's wedding, her cousin dared her to be different and date a regular guy instead of worrying about their wallet size. Christina meets Dereon and everything changes for her. Dereon has secrets of his own and becomes a mystery to Christina, but as time goes by, she starts to fall for Dereon. This was a great read for me. From the opening scene, right down to the last page was so good. Dereon was sexy, even when he said the word yo it was sexy. Dereon is that guy that did not seem to fit in Christina's world. The things he said and how he said them always put a smile on my face. One word YUMMY. Christina was use to thinking a certain way in regards to dating and who to date, but quickly let her guard down with Dereon. The first date between Dereon and Christina set the pace for the book and what a first date it was. It was so hot and steamy. The things they did throughout the book gave me a full body blush if that is even possible. Other than Christina's family, we read about her friend, Claudia. Claudia was a good friend and funny as well. The author gave us a chapter for Claudia with her encounter with Maximilian and that was so exciting. The author also introduces us to Reggie, Trey, and Braxton. Won't give away what their roles are but I am hoping, begging, and praying that we will get a story with Claudia and Maximilian and later on Trey and Braxton. This is the ONLY movie that is better then the book. The book is awesome of course but they really did a good job making this a production. The cover really tells you all about it. Its about 4 people and their many faces. Nothing to say but fucking great.
