I cannot tell you how helpful this book has been to me. I have read it three times now and I refer back to it all the time. Nikki Leigh is what every marketing guru should aspire to. Her information is concise, easy to understand, and practical. So often help guides only manage to muddy the issues with a lot of blahdy blahdy blah. Nikki, keeps it simple and easy to implement. I recommend it to all my authors, and anyone else who will listen. Excellent book to have on hand.

Zack Overkill may not be a good person, but how much of his problem comes from nature versus nuture? We get a little more of Zack's background here. We have it confirmed that he is most likely a clone of the former 1930s hero Lazarus, but was part of a batch abandoned for no known reason. The SOS sends him undercover, and that was probably not a good idea. Not just because they were sending him in to get an undercover operative who had gone native, but because Zack himself is struglling with being a "hero" versus his old "villain" life. And, it doesn't help that he is not accepted or liked by his SOS peers. To say the least things do not end well for Zack and I hope Ed Brubaker does a third volume, because I feel he has set up Zack's ending in this tale.

I loved this book and think she is a very talented author. However, I was a bit disturbed..I felt that she kind of pushed the bounds of what would be acceptable in Christian fiction--it was a bit too sensual in parts, I felt.

I didn't realize the audience was grades 5-9 when i picked it up (a reading thing i guess...) While the content wasn't challenging, it was a fun fast read. There was enough disney-style action to keep me reading until the end.

I've read this book so many times...whenever I come back to it, it seems to get stranger and more warped than I remember it being the last time I read it. It makes me have strange dreams when I read it before bed, but it's a fun read. John Irving has a strange way of dealing with pretty serious subject matter - darkly comical, sarcastic, and matter-of-fact...and sometimes I need that instead of a serious approach.

ugh this book was good. i loved mrs. o'leary. :D i want a hellhound as a pet~ even if she is as big as a garbage truck, hehe. i also loved how quintus turned out to be daedalus. and UGH don't forget nico! i couldn't help but picture everyone older, so imagining nico as a 11 yr old FAILED. i pictured him like he was 20ish lol and i must say in my head he was quiet hot wielding those undead soldiers~

Wonderful, Hugo-esque novel of the Russian Revolution. I have a great respect for the screenwriter of the movie as he was able to preserve so many details in the movie from the book. Loved it as much as the movie.
