Angga Radea radeaangga697d — Serah SanGermano was 1st introduced in book 1 of the series Demons Prefer Blondes and in that book the author hinted that there was much more to her character than what she seems to be. Something's going on with Serah because things seem to heat up when she's around. When I say heat up and I really mean that. She keeps this info to herself and isn't very happy when Matthias Ambrose is assigned to be her bodyguard because Serah is actually pretty important. She just doesn't know it yet and is irritated when Matthias is around because not only does she not want him there but because she is extremely attracted to him. He just screams trouble and Matthias has his eye on Serah as well. They actually share a past, one that Serah doesn't remember and there's a good reason why. Yes I'm being vague in this review and it's because I don't want to give anything away. But as the story flows she learns more about herself and exactly how Matthias fits into her life. The characters from the first book in the series Demons Prefer Blondes also make appearances throughout the book. Overall, I found the story to be entertaining at times and felt that the author's writing was great, but I had a hard time connecting with Serah and Matthias. For me there just seemed to be something missing that I just can't put my finger on. There were times where I wasn't enjoying the storyline and times when I found myself laughing at what was happening. I don't think I was able to get fully vested into the storyline because my feelings for it weren't consistent.

Dariusz Wais smartandart — A compilation of short stories. I have to say I was disappointed -not as um, spicy?, as I was hoping for. (or maybe I was looking for cayenne and it was more jalapeno).

Mert Reisoglu mertreisoglu — This is the ninth Connelly novel I've read, and, like the eight previous ones, it was very entertaining. It started off slowly, with the narrator, Mickey Haller, almost giving a tutorial on the criminal justice system. But it picked up and had a few plot twists to keep the reader off-balance until the end. I did think the ending was a little too cursory, though, but not nearly as bad as the ridiculous last two pages of "The Bonfire of the Vanities." I'm good for one Connelly a year, so I look forward to 2012.

Gune Dissa dmg_dis — This was a far more academic book than the jacket blurb would lead one to believe. The being said it was satisfying and persuasive, but less than optimistic. This well researched with both excellent statistical data and on the ground anecdotal interviews.

Francesc Lara soyellara — Wow,if you like hockey [of course] and learning all these interesting facts on these new and really good hockey stars.It shows all these interesting facts that you need to know.Like the super star Alex Ovechkin and learn his idols growing up as a young kid like the great Wayne Gretzky, mario Lemiux,and Mark Messier.If you like collecting cards, then read this book it shows all these super good young guys that will be in the nhl.also you will find out these really interesting facts that knowone knows, like do you think anyone knows that the great Sidney Crosby got his first interview at age seven years old on tv, who knows that right?You see, this book has everything that you need to know and knowone knows all these cool and interesting facts, its perfect.I loved this book and it is so hard for me to find a really great book and this was one of my few one that i loved, i could not put it down and i am sure ir you read this book you wont be able put it down to. Those are all my reasons why you need to read this fantastic book. So if you love hockey, collecting cool rookie cards, and learning all these interesting facts that knowone knows so pick it and you will love it.
