Maik Gassan mgassan — I liked it but it was too over the top in my opinion. I think it is a good social commentary but then again, I'm sick of everyone thinking they are so enlightened and acting like they need to preach their word to everyone. This book doesn't go that far, but it is another person trying to express values and going to the extreme to make themselves seem right. If you can enjoy it as a story, go for it but don't get too caught up in th political content.

Morgan Tennant morgantenn24 — Come for the existential angst, stay for the gorgeous language. I'm not sure I fully understood what McCarthy was trying to get at with this book (I've read he spent 20 years writing it, off and on), but I have drawn my own conclusions and have taken what I consider my due from it, according to the effort I put in while reading it. I feel there is much more to be gleaned than I managed, and I cheer on any who delve more deeply. Sigue la combinación de peleas ingeniosas con discusiones filosóficas (nunca mejor empleado el adjetivo), y las vueltas de tuerca de las vueltas de tuerca me marearon cual calesita sin frenos. Vamos que ya pasé el ecuador de la serie, ahora me queda la laaaarga recta final.
