Lindsey Wu wulinyan01094d1b — This may be one of the best books I've ever read. If you liked Gone with the Wind, you'll love this southern novel. I couldn't put it down. It's at the top of my list!

Aleksey Agafonov _leksey_gafonov — While Matched totally captivated my attention leaving me wanting more and telling everyone I knew about the book, Crossed lacked a certain zeal. It didn't have me up to the wee hours of the night awe struck by a dystopian love triangle I found with Ally Condie's first book. Like Matched, Condie's second installment leaves readers incomplete. I don't like leaving my characters all out of place and unhappy when I have to wait a whole year to find out what will happen. Positive aspects of the book, (obviously I rated it a four), were the poetic aspect the writing took on. I also enjoyed the new characters Eli, Indie, Vick and Hunter introduced to us in this sequel. I also highly anticipate that Condie's third book in the series will be her best yet. All the answers to my questions will hopefully be revealed. All in all as a stand alone book I would give it a three star but becuase of my love for Matched I am giving it the extra star. What can I say I am a fan.

Maru Design marugd — I probably enjoyed this one even more, because I just finished "The Tudors" on Showtime. I've read a few books on Henry VIII, but this one, by far is the most reader-friendly. Reads like fiction. Unreal that all of this truly happened in the 16th century. Much loved by the "Real Housewives" viewer in me!

Maciek Grzybek maciekgrzybek — One of the great economic history book. It makes you think. Is geography destiny? Are trade barriers a necessary precondition to industrialization? Important questions that are given good, thoughtful empirical analyses flavored with an acerbic writing style.

Renato Pongrac renatopongrac — Excellent and beautifully written, but a bit long for non-James fans, perhaps. Still, one of his best novels without a doubt.

S E sevalent — Very interesting although much of what he said was common sense. Our rabbi mentioned this in his speech about a year ago. I related to a lot of this and it was very easy to read.
