Roberto Voorbij robertovoorbij — I didn't realize this book was a sequel until I finished it but it works well as a stand-alone book. It's about a brother and sister in the aftermath of Bangladesh's 1971 war of independence and the wounds from the war lead the siblings in different direction - one towards religion and the other not. While in lots of ways I identified with Maya, she was also a really frustrating and stubborn character. While I liked the book, I didn't love it and I wasn't blown away by it.
