Felicia Santos feliciasantos — "Fighting For Freedom, Because A Better World Is Possible," is the first book written, edited and published by my colleague and I.. Spanning different cultures, countries and time periods, Edgey Wildchild and I have documented various example of Capitalism’s damaging effect upon our world. I focused on the history of women in Medieval times, their struggle to work and live independently and the forces that kept them suppressed. In my later chapter, I cited different indigenous cultures, whom of which have successfully balanced their existence with the environment, animals and human beings alike. Mr. Wildchild spoke on topics ranging from the Capitalism’s harm against our environment, to natives fighting the Walmart invasion in Mexico. He also extensively traced the routes of human evolution, proving that civilization is not only an extremely new phenomenon, but a very disruptive and damaging one as well. Writing this book was a huge achievement for us; we had always discussed the problems in our world and theorized on how could resolve them. On one sunny afternoon in August 2005, we decided it was vital to put our ideas to paper and show the world our findings and solutions. There was no time to waste; every moment is precious when racing against the earth’s destruction. We did the research. Spent countless hours editing, rereading, rephrasing, and negotiating. From finding ISBN numbers to constructing websites and designing logos, it was one great big adventure. There were bumps along the road; trying to find a decent publisher was a nightmare. Instead, we decided to go our own route and open our very own publishing company. 佳魚 陳 icily — What a mess. I really like the characters in this series. Arthur Bryant, John May, and the others in here are all pretty entertaining and interesting characters. But the plot was just so bad. It starts with four murders, a bit much really, but I was still enjoying the book. Then the bodies keep piling up, the detectives are no nearer solving the case, and there's this extra subplot that doesn't seem to be going anywhere. What is the deal? Jerry, the girl who discovers the first body, obviously knows something, but Bryant and May never question her long enough to get the whole story, and she is never bright enough to tell them what she's really up to. It was just too much to believe. I may or may not read the next in this series, but I'm really disappointed, because Fowler has such an original idea with this one. He just needs to explain things a little better and keep the plots solid, while he keeps the fresh ideas and characters.
