It is interesting and explains a lot of things about Masonry that 'profanes' wouldn't know anything about. My friend told me that 99% of the book is accurate. The 1% that he couldn't vouch for was because different Lodges have different practices. The big downfall of The Deadly Deception is that it is poorly written. It seemed to me that the arthor felt readers needed a Dick and Jane style of writing to understand Masonry. It was rather insulting at times.

Kev B-man _an — This book is incredible. First of all, I know it is a work of fiction. However, the book makes an incredible point about the media and quite literally the State of Fear that they try to whip the public into. Global warming is the choice topic here but the appliction of the State of Fear attitude to other things within the book says everything about our current culture. Man can't change everything and often just makes things worse as indicated by the Yellowstone Park experiment within the book. This book shows the need to question everything that the media tell the public. This book made me thing about a lot of things and not just global warming. Easily Crichton's best since Andromeda Strain.

Emmanuel Gilliland land_ncorpuration — Hysterical, subversive, extremely fun. You will crack up and cringe and everything in between.
