Elena Toumazatou Toumazatou elena_toumazatou — YA için harika bilimkurgu hikayesi. İlgi çekici ve endişeyle doluydu. Açlık Oyunları üçlemesini bitiren ve daha fazlasını isteyen öğrencilere güçlü bir çekiciliği olmalı. Karakterler inandırıcıydı ve arsa hızlı ilerledi. John'un (Dört Numaralı) en iyi arkadaşının Sam Goode olarak adlandırılmasının ilginç olduğunu düşündüm. Bu, Frodo'nun yan vuruşuna bir gün müthiş bir şey olup olmadığını merak ettim ve günü Ring of Fellowship'te eşit bir şekilde kurtardı. Sam, hikayede beklenmedik bir kahraman haline gelir. Gin Lu gin_lu — always wonderful

Jonatan Coronel jonatancoronel — I am not a fan of short stories or anthologies even with stories about characters I like. I have been burned by too many liked authors who take the opportunity to add stories from other works that they assume you have read just because they wrote it. That said, I read this because Butcher does reference one story from this collection in his new book "Ghost Story". If I had read this book first, I would have had a different perspective on that book, but my review would still stand. The stories in this collection are all Dresden file related stories and he introduces all of them telling you where in the Dresden world it fits into and from which anthology it comes from. The first story is his first Dresden work, 2 years before developing his first book. The final story takes place hours after "Changes" which is the book that precedes "Ghost Story". "Day off" is hilarious and "Love Hurts" had me sobbing,which I don't think was his intention, but it hit me hard knowing how "Changes" ended and how "Ghost Story" goes. There is a new anthology out with a Butcher short story from the perspective of Marcone that is worth checking out. It goes along with the last story here and with the new book.

Omar Al-taher om96ta1253 — It's amusing enough, but nothing phenomenal. The strange sex situations become passe as per the author's intent and the whole bit ends up as a memoir of the author's journey from virgin to perv; sometimes it's a bit hard to care, sometimes it's wry and funny. I recommend it as a light read. Get's overdrawn towards the end.

Ataca Esquimal _taca_squimal — I love David Sedaris! This book made me laugh out loud in the middle of a crowded barracks in Afghanistan. This was book 4 of my afghan books! This was the last of Sedaris' books to read for me...all his are excellent. If you are in the need for some funny social commentary and an author who never hesitates to recognize and revel in his own foibles then his books are for you. My favorite parts of this book are in the second half dealing with his efforts to learn French...
