Axel Briceno _xel_ — this was a great book. it was so good. at first it was kinda boring but then i got into it a little. when u start reading it u get bored but as u get to the middle of the book its gets better and better. its a great book. it explains the struggle that one family once went through.it was a sad story i actually cried when her husband died becuz he was in a painful situation at the moment of his death. theres a bunch of crying in this book.

Tryclops The angelsolty9afb — One of those books that you start and finish in the same day. Was a good length and I couldn't put it down. A very chick lit book and very light hearted after the last book I read.

Bea Arias bea_2_obi — This book stirred within me a desire to start hacking into computers, something I've never come close to feeling before. Listening to Kevin's narrative woke me up to the fantastic game surrounding us to penetrate computer defenses merely for entertainment. Unfortunately, it is quite illegal, so it's a good thing I don't have the time to explore that potential passion. I thought this book would be a five-starrer after reading the first chapter (actually, listening to the excellent audiobook) but I found it too repetitive to really garner that kind of rating. Still, it kept me thoroughly engaged until the end. As to the content itself--fascinating, for many reasons. One of which that Kevin, despite his intelligence and talents, seems remarkably deluded about the ethics of the behavior he engaged in. He would regularly take others to task for minor legal infractions whilst dismissing his own fairly major ones as harmless because of his good intentions, seemingly oblivious to the incredulity of breaking into a computer and seizing incredibly valuable assets just for fun. Another reason I found it engaging was the at times very detailed descriptions of his exploits. Actual lines of code aren't present, but that's probably for the best. It's fun to realize how simple and open so much of the technology black boxes that power our world really are. And a bit scary.
