Blessance Toh blessancetoh — 4.5 stars! This book rocked! Even though it is a spin-off of the Vampire Academy, it was still very good and very typical Richelle Mead (a good thing). I loved that there were characters from the other series included. I wish there would have been more Rose and maybe some Lissa, but Jill and Sydney were very cool as was Adrian. We learned a lot about Adrian's character in this book; it was nice that there was more depth to his character than just the chain-smoking partier. Also, I don't want to spoil anything, but she killed me with the last line of the book!! WTH!! You can't do that to me! LOL Ugh, when does the next one come out??

Megan Shiver _egan_hiver — On the eve of the outbreak of WW2, a clipper ship of the Pan American Line is due to fly from England to New York. These massive flying boats are the epitome of luxury and passage can be afforded by only the wealthy. It's a mixed bag on this trip-an aristocratic family who have been forced to leave England because of the fathers fascist views, a petty crook,an eloping couple who are being pursued by the womans jealous husband and various others.It's a gripping and exciting tale, well written and a good,fast,satisfying read.

Muhammad Iqbal _qbal_usthafa — An incredibly researched take on what would happen to the world if humanity just disappeared. Intriguing (and humbling) to see how great (and small) our impact on this planet has been.

Jessy Ch _essy_onza33b2 — I listened to the audio version. It features Nora Ephron reading the book and it is fun to listen to her dry, emphatic voice recounting her dislike of purses, hair maintenance, and wrinkly necks. Her tale of being an intern in the JFK administration is great!

Veysel Karani veyselkoparal — I don't know where to start...maybe OMG will do for now! I really loved Incarnate. Such a fresh and exciting debut that's sure to knocks your socks off! Meadows writing is so unique. The detail is fascinating and it really helped set in stone the world Ana is from. The romance, world building and characters are to die for and I just couldn't get enough. The world of Range and Heart is so beautiful that I couldn't help but to fall in love with it, just as Ana does. Ana is a tough cookie, although it seems as if she's easily knocked down, she's not afraid to get back up. She has a passion for learning and figuring out why she's the only newsoul and how she replaced another soul. As she ventures to Heart, the main city, she meets the young and good looking Sam who makes her feel worthy of friendship, love, and life. Finally...a book that has a slow paced , realistic romance that buds from a strong friendship. I absolutely loved how Meadows brings Sam and Ana together. They stuck it out together and I have huge hopes for them in future books!! I've heard some folks were hoping for more out of the characters and the world, like what time period it was. I definitely see where they are coming from, but in Range years are not consecutive numbers, like 2012 and so on. There are years for specific things, such as The Year of the Songs. Like I *might* have mentioned before, Incarnate is so unique and exciting. It has quickly made its way to the top of my favorites and I can't wait to hear more from Jodi Meadows as well, a very talented writer!! Review based on ARC

The only solace she finds is in her boyfriend Blaze and in the music she writes and plays with her best friend Claire at church. Her father has remarried and they no longer cook and make up jingles together and her step mother is expecting a baby girl. Alice is not excited about her new half-sister. Then her life goes from bad to worse; Claire tells her that the church thinks Alice’s songs are too sad and they don’t want them to play and sing anymore. She and Claire stop talking and hanging out and Alice feels even more alone; thank God for Blaze but she even has some confusion about him. Then after her new sister is born, her dad tells her they are driving to California from their Seattle home to visit Victoria’s parents for Thanksgiving. Her dad is called away on business Thanksgiving night and Victoria, Alice, and Ivy make the return trip to Seattle. They wind up caught in a blizzard and Victoria’s and Alice’s icy relationship begins to thaw even as the temperature drops. When Victoria goes for help, Alice focuses on keeping Ivy alive and learns things about herself and her dead mother in the process. The story is told in poems that have an authentic teenage voice.
