Natalia Raposo _atalia_aposo — Greatest love story? Uh.... I no think so. However, very much enjoyed this book. Very glad I read it. I appreciate when an author can truly understand his/her own characters; and though Scarlett was not very easy to like, at least she wasn't easy to like throughout the story. Her long, long path to self discovery seems very realistic given her personality. That said, she did grow and change because of her experiences.... also realistic. Thank you Ms. Mitchell. And everyone else in the story just drove you mad. But that's what other people are put on earth to do, right? Loved the book, worth the thousand pages and 14 months it took me to read it. (!)

Fadi Balaawi fadirize — Enjoyed the book, but it is kind of forgettable. I didn't finish and think, "I LOVED that!"

Shu Zhang zhangshushane — I found this book recently, someone having discarded it on the street. Since beginning to read it I've had trouble putting it down. The quality of mystery pervades the book, with no gratuitous violence. There is an immediacy that is captivating, with many excerpts from actual transcripts. The characterizations are rendered with depth, complexity, insightful behavioral nuance.
