Sergio Meliá sergiomelia — I read it on the plane ride to and from my destination. It was okay. There was great contrast between the main character's choices and life and her loser boyfriend. I read it to see if it would be good to recommend to the book club I'm in.... it's not.

Oswald Knight _matiauctionhouse — Definitely a filler book, but excellent set up for third book.

Yesung Kim romancerye — I would definitely read Philip Roth again. He's one of those authors you're "supposed" to read. Now I can say I have! This was his first book, a novella really, and there are 5 short stories along with it. I think I liked a couple of the stories better than the novella. But it's interesting, if you want a look into: 1950's America, Jewish culture, men's brains. Very readable.

Matts Van mattsie4726 — Another enjoyable and fascinating book to finish the Gengis series. An incredible man and an incredible race of people - it's hard for us to understand how they could achieve what they did or to understand their beliefs and behaviour. Very alien to our society and 'civilization' today. All three books are like watching a Hollywood blockbuster - but of the better sort! Entertaining but also very interesting! Recommend the whole series.

Fabrizzio Claros _abriczio_clar — Believe me, when you read this, you will be all, "It is funny." You will want to show the nut's letters to your friends and family. If you have no friends and no family then you might show a coworker or acquaintance and deepen your relationship through the beauty the of joyous laughter you'll share and then, maybe, you won't be so lonely anymore.

Yvonne Amoh _173c — An excellent book- very unique and gutsy by the author in terms of presentation and subject matter. I enjoyed every page- a book I will definitely read again and highly recommend.

Bucky Clarke indur — I find Greek Mythology interesting and even more so when pared with a modern story. That is why I was very happy I found the Goddess Test and I wasn't disappointed! This book has great characters, settings and plot! Also a gorgeous cover;) It is basically a sequel to the story of Persephone, it follows Kate as she returns to her mother's hometown and finds out she is chosen to be the next girl in a series of tests for the god of the Underworld, Henry. If she passes she is granted immortality, if she fails the consequences would be deadly. In order to pass her tests she must live with Henry for six months in his manor where she gains friends and enemies. I love how it turned out in the end, and how everything was connected to one another. All the characters seemed real and you could feel what Kate was feeling especially the scenes with her sick mother. I would recommend this to anyone with a sweet tooth for Greek mythology or a light summer read! The sequel Goddess Interrupted comes out in 2012!

Sang Tran _yr123 — Loved it! One of the most atmospheric novels I have ever read, if that makes any sense. I felt like I was as intimately connected to the moors of England as were Cathy and Heathcliff. An amazing story.
