Madeline Plesh madelinepl5171 — Twice now, Peter Singer's arguments have radically changed my world view. First with Animal Liberation, and now with The Life You Can Save. I dare you to read this book and not emerge unmoved. I will continue to support causes I care about - education, animal welfare, the environment - but I have added Oxfam and Kiva to the list of charities to which I contribute.

Camille Reiser c_ami — Read Marley & Me: Life and Love with the World's Worst Dog by John Grogan right through the Superbowl. Finished with puffy eyes and a completely stuffed up nose, which kept me up for an hour or so, remembering our own sweet poodle, Marley. Grogan's Marley sounds more like Jack, our family's labradoodle puppy, which makes sense because Grogan's Marley was a labrador. Jack's got the same willful behavior, the same energy, the same strength, and he's huge. All the same, the similarities between all dogs was there and depicted well enough for me to have flash backs of watching Marley grow from a puppy to an adolescent to an adult to a dignified retiree. I'll always be a true dog person. R.I.P. Marley P.P. Sharpless.

Fahad Haroon haroonf — PAUL DINI IS AWESOME!!!! Nobody writes better, tighter, and cooler single issue Batman stories than Dini. While the transitory nature of the stories make the collections harder to remember, each story is still a lot of fun.

Le Thanh _ynk — Full of cliches, stereotypes and unsympathetic characters. Resorted to skimming to the end.

Aaron Whittemore _aron_hittemore — Its hard to review this book because I know whatever I say won't even cover it. A comical romance, Jane Austen's book is layered with her hidde humor among the rules and etiquettes of a middle class society. Where most women are feather brains and primped up for a respectable, available man to marry, Elizabeth Bennet stands alone seeking love, and finding it in one of the most unlikely people.
