As they work together to discover the identity of the rogue vampire, they can't keep their hands off each other. Within days and some mind-blowing sex, an incredible bond forms between them. The investigation continues. Alex and Stefan struggle to define their relationship, work with a hunky FBI agent (love those men in suits!), resolve dysfunctional vampire "family" issues, and still gather proof against the mastermind behind the deadly virus. Wow, that's a lot of obstacles to overcome! I love the premise of this story. An action-packed plot pulls the reader along on the hunt for the bad guy. The growing attraction and steamy sex keeps you pulling for Alex and Stefan. (Have a fire extinguisher nearby for the sex club scene!) I would have liked more background on Stefan and why he'd become so apathetic toward living. It might have helped me understand his debasing sexual encounter with his ex. That scene left me disappointed in Stefan. BORN TO BE WILD is an entertaining story. It just didn't resonate with me. This review originally written for The Romance Reviews.
