Baiao Baiao rbaiao — It's a fun read, and I appreciate the guts Baker had to write this. It's funny, and I think a lot of young single LDS adults could relate to this (and a lot will not and be offended). However, I think in ten years she's going to look back on this book and feel embarrassed. She should have waited a few more years to publish it because she obviously hasn't come to terms with her struggle between her religion and the kind of lifestyle she wants to live.

Marcin Pałaszyński marcinpalaszynski — i liked it in the beginning, but i think it fell apart towards the end. it kind of reminded me of A Visit From the Goon Squad by Jennifer Egan (i think it's by her?) but then i think the Goon Squad was written much better than this book. not that this was a bad book, it was really well written, and i really feel theneed to get on a plane and go visit london and paris again, but it just wasn't my type

Sofia Manrique sofiamaga — It took me four full months to finish this thing because I relished every detail. The details of everyday life that Tuchman includes create a spell that really drew me in. It was amazing to learn how different these people's lives were from mine, yet how many of the same struggles they faced. Like getting the plague--I HATE that!
