I remember choosing not to read it when it first came out because of the switch in voice from present day to flashback; but I was without an audio book, so I picked this up from the library, and it's very good. Grafton (and Kinsey) is one of those authors that feel very familiar and comfortable to me, and this one, surprisingly to me, is one of her best.

Rochelle Pennington rochellefp — Interesting but I found the protagonist wholly repugnant and there were too many "say quoi?!" moments for me throughout.

Dylan Thiemeyer-tramp dtramp — If you're a CLAMP fan, you'll have to read this series. If you've been a CLAMP fan since their early starts with series like Tokyo Babylon and RG Veda, then you HAVE to read this series. They blend characters from most, if not all, their storylines into this idea of many alternate universes existing side by side. It's not the plotbunny of being that one decision can change a universe, but rather the idea that all manga every created has its own universe and that universe is the ones that the newest crew of CLAMP's beloved hero groups is traveling. Sound incoherent? You'll get it once you read this manga. ;) But yes, this is definitely a series for people who are ALREADY familiar with CLAMP's works. You'll be missing a lot if you're not.
