Camila Da camiladaluz — Great book for those trying to understand Aid and why it isn't working in Africa. It gets a bit bogged down with economics, but it is great for understanding problems aid programs have in implementation.

Riley Claxton rileyclaxteb9b — Set during WWII in Naples, Italy, army officer's job is to "vett" engagements of young Italian women to enlistees. Predictably, this stuffy Englishman falls in love with a local, but the setting, the Italian language and the descriptions of food were most enjoyable.

Jesse Vigil _esse_ — an adorable and strange book, the poems are nice, but somewhat generic, though they do reveal some interesting truths about humanity's love affair with the cat, it is the photography that really makes this book good, the pictures dare to go beyond the cutesy wutesy and take a more artistic almost manrayesque approach to the cat and reveal and revel in the strangeness and arabesque beauty of these most graceful of creatures.

Until today, I was almost done this book when somebody made me realise that I'm missing something. Auden is searching for something as well. She found it. I hope I do too. Another great book by Sarah Dessen.
