Jongpil Park du_ke — Very funny and inventive picture book. I love the inquisitive nature of the little girl and the imagination of the little boy. His creative answers to the question of "how does a ____ work?" were awesome. I learned a lot about airplanes, steamrollers and trains. I had no idea that an octopus twisted a whale to power a freighter. I especially love how the little girl turns the tables and shows the boy how a bicycle works at the end. Very good read.

Andrea Cortes andreacortes — I started the second volume of Diabolo hoping that it would be much better than the first. My small hope was crushed by the end of the volume. There wasn't an improvement at all. In fact, I felt like the volume would've been a one rating if it wasn't for the little inkling that told me Diabolo was a little better than that. I expected more character development in the two leads in this volume. Instead, the manga-ka added at least seven new characters to the story that it really didn't need. With one volume left, there isn't enough time or pages to fully display these characters in the way they should be. I don't understand the character development entirely, either. There's just questions that aren't getting answered. The story isn't really improving either. There's some answers this time around, at least, but there's nothing substantial. The volume ended with a cliff hanger, which didn't really help, actually. If I didn't have the next volume already, I wouldn't bother reading it. There's just not enough in the second volume to keep me that interested. Maybe I'll be surprised and the third volume will be better than the second and first ones. Maybe.

Danielle Feerick aniday — Continues series...good, but not as many tricky cases but characters are going through growing pains. AS usual, a pleasant, feel good read.
