Antianti Antianti antiantinyc — I started reading And Then There Were None on December 30th and on New Year’s eve, all I wanted to do was to go home, make myself a cup of tea and find out who the killer was. That was exactly what I did on January 1, 2011. That’s how engaging this book is. I couldn’t put it down, I was reading in the car on the way to the mall, at the film shop where Jon was getting our films developed. I took Agatha Christie everywhere! I didn’t expect to like it as much as I did. I’ve read that this is one of, if not the best that she has written. It will keep you guessing until the very end. I almost don’t want to read another one of her books, I’m afraid I’ll be disappointed but I think I’ll give Murder at Orient Express a chance. It was a great way to spend the first day of 2011.

Simon C _imon_higova — This book could be boiled down to one sentence: To be healthy, eat less meat. In terms of practical information or real in-depth nutritional information, it is severely lacking. I didn't find the recipes to be particularly appetizing sounding (peanute butter tofu dip-yuck) or creative (oatmeal for breakfast - gee never would have thought of that). Also, the lack to photos of what the dishes should look like is a real bummer. Don't waste your time or money on this book, there are so many better ones out there.

Justin Junior justinpjunior — Ok, so I did read another one. I really enjoy this author's nine kingdom series, but again, this one read more like a romance. Fortunately a pretty clean one, and not as much of a soap opera as the previous, which meant I was able to enjoy the historical fiction even more. But seriously, there were some pretty dumb decisions by the couple in love, and I'm not sure if a touch of the hand is really enough to knock me off my feet... Ok, so I'm not a huge romance buff, I suppose. And I felt like the author was stretching to put as much serious conflict in this book as in the last - so some kids teased you, why let that ruin your life & love? Not quite as earth-shattering stuff to deal w/ as their parents did in the last book. We'll see if I pick up the last two...
