Divya Gunashekar langooor — I really appreciated the storyline: it was exciting and I wasn't able to find the real killer of Dante until the end. I think it's a really good book even if it's not well structured. The investigation isn't well defined and the author focused on the search of the "Arch" and on Bernard. Probably while I was reading I'm focused on the search of the Arch too, that's why I didn't understand who the killer was. Anyway the author did a really good work about the interpretation of the "Divina Commedia". I really appreciated the descriptions of Firenze and Bologna: I read a lot about italian issues in 1300 and I found the picture of these cities very realistic. So, the book flows smoothly and I loved the storyline but in the next book I hope the author will take care of all the characters equally!

Massimo Germoglio mgermoglio — I couldn't finish this book, mainly due to the author's style of writing. The writing just seemed to flippant and nonchalant about the whole thing. What also didn't help was focusing briefly on one family or individual and then quickly jumping to another, then another. Maybe if the author had centered on one particular family or a small group of individuals...
