Minh Dong minhdong79 — My enjoyment of this book may have been affected by the fact that I was reading it for school and knew that I was going to have to write an essay about it. But overall I did really enjoy this book, which surprised me because at first I was hesitant to pick it up and only started reading it because my friend had it and it was the only convenient book for me to read at the time. There is a lot of sex in this book, but quite quickly I got used to it and the parts in between where there is a lot of philosophy and what I found to be an interesting analysis of life. I liked the way that the characters were all interconnected in someways without it seeming unbelievable. The book is written in language that is not difficult to understand at all. I learned quite a bit from this book with regards to philosophy and a little about the history of Prague during that time period.
