Gon G gongalinb895 — Okay...I just can't really put my finger on WHY I liked this book so much. I just did. Sure, there were some hard parts for me to get through (old English weirdo language) and it was so long in getting to the good stuff! However, the development of the characters was excellent. I also loved picturing the countryside in Helstone, England. Lovely. It is a Jane Austinesque type of book with tons of detail and where I was so captivated by the love story I couldn't put it down. Give me more romance!! And just so you know this is totally silly romance (unlike super juicy Twilight-type romance.) For example, Mr. Thornton watching Margaret brush her bracelets that continued to slip down from her forearm to her wrist, which caused annoyance to her, and only completely mesmerized him. Ahhhh. Seriously, my heart was swooning. Give me more!!! I hope you are laughing at me with my silly romantic ideas. Now, I’m off to put on some bracelets, to see if my hubby thinks them to be sexy!
