In keeping with the pace of the story, the chapters are much shorter than the previous book, and the exposition is typically through dialog. Martin introduces minor characters--innkeepers and their wives, pirates, and others--that provide much needed humor. And, speaking of humor, nothing moves so well as the scenes between Brienne and Jaime. Jaime Lannister is a more central character here and quite a sympathetic sort. Many twists and unexpected events await the reader, including some that are just heart-rending. Then there's the epilogue... Let me just say that there is a 92 year old man who deserves a bloody end.

The writing in it is amazing its a bit harder to get into but once you get into it you wont be able to get out! the book is adventurous and it does have some romance in it like all of Stephenie Meyer's books. However not everyone will get what or who they want in this book! Its a little disappointing but still a very good book.
