ajaybharti
Ajay Bharti ajaybharti — This book gets a lot of glowing reviews, and I agree that it's a good book for what it does cover (and I've recommended it on a number of occasions). But - there are a few things about it to be aware of. First, it covers non-monagomous relationships from a decidedly poly-* viewpoint. People/couples looking into this from the lifestyle community/perspective may find this a bit disconcerting (no, neither one is "better" than the other, blah blah blah - but they are different, and it's good to keep those differences in mind while reading). Also, the section on dealing with jealosy is a bit thin - we've heard back from several couples that we've recommended this book to that they didn't find this particular section particularly helpful or useful. All that said, it's still one of the best (if not the best) books on the topic.

Louise Tunne luizezuksi0fc1 — I can't stop thinking about this book for all of it's haunting images and the intracacies. It has grown on me so much after reading it multiple times. Amazing stuff.

fatredbird
Robin Myers fatredbird — A tough and tragic read, that I've yet to make my mind up about. The book details the last day of an alcoholic Brit living in Mexico. I've read it twice and it has puzzled and floored me each time. "The Consul stared back at the black words on the sign without moving. You like this garden? Why is it yours? We evict those who destroy! Simple words, simple and terrible words, words which one took to the very bottom of one's being . . ."

elizandrapeniche
Eliza Peniche elizandrapeniche — 3.5 This book was good. Very good, and I like it a lot. At first, for about the first 150 pages, I was kind of bored. There was no plot. Then thing got a bit for interesting. For one, we find out that Cassel is a worker. And a very rare worker. He brings Lila back, and they bust Anton and Phillip. It was interesting, I had to admit. Although when I saw how many pages were left, I felt kind of cheated. Only that much left to wrap up the book? Other than that, the lead made me want more with questions such as, how did he get on the roof? The ending also had the same effect, yet ended in a sense of resolution. Will Lila get mad at him? When will she come back to normal?
