Md Kamal shajal16 — The premise of this book was very interesting and catchy, but the delivery was really horrible. The first chapter was full of mindless action that was really unrelatable. I kind of found it hard to believe that a principal, scared or not, would stand by and watch as a student is getting knocked out, and I also found it hard to believe that the same victim, on the same day is seeking revenge on the same people that beat her up instead of her going to the hospital to get herself cleaned up. When I first heard of Karsten Knight, I thought he was a female, and so did not think i would want to read thiS book, then I saw his profile and he was male, I was excited, and I thought maybe someone was going to do a more complex and more interesting take on the PERCY JACKSON series. I did my own author stalking, saw his videos, and that was when I started doubting the book because I felt he was trying too hard to be funny. And that is exactly how i felt about the book, the parts I read that is. I wish Ash was a male character, maybe it would have turned out good for me. I could not just finish the book. The scene u top of the roof where Lizzie or something was confronted by Ash seemed pretty lame, like the author was trying to make the dialogue sound as epic as possible. Bottom line i did not finish the book. I would have given it one star, but I am way too nice to do that.
