A good story, but here's the problem - this is going to be a series (he didn't say how many books but there will be a sequel). So the book was finally going somewhere when there were only 3 chapters left. That last chapter left too many loose ends. Guess I'll just have to wait awhile to see what happens, bummer. If you really knew your ancient world history this book would come together a little more - lots of reference to different culture's Gods and legends. Fun read, I read it in less than 2 days, mostly because it was due at the library.
