Ma Ga bustmantef931f — Amazing book, loved the way a personal story was situated in the historical context. All the characters are so believable and its great seeing such a 3D child narrator. I read it for the first time when I was quite young, then again in year 10, and studying the book in year 11 was good. However, re-studying it in year 11 just ruined it for me. I really think the way we go into books again and again in school kills it. I really identify with the character Scout, she is so likeable and naive and innocent...loves the scene when she breaks up the lynch mob outside the jail and the way she treats Boo Radley. Film Adaption with Gregory Peck as Atticus is just awesome!

Marcella Hamilton _helli_helli — Having a hard time getting into this one. As much as I hate to leave a book unfinished, this one may end up in the discard pile. Update...finished. Nothing more to say about it.

Lais Santos laisinha — Fanstastic book. Tells you the nitty gritty in a non-scary way...went over labor and delivery in more detail than anything I've read yet...and was basic enough in the newborn section that my husband even knew what was going on (he's had a little less exposure than most!). It didn't focus too heavily on the "right" diet or get preachy about anything about quitting your illicit drugs. Highly recommend.

Murong Falei _icola_e — Made it about half way through, which is a rarity for me as a bookreader. As an Aries, I tend to start more than I can finish, but with books--I've got Capricorn tendancies. Shadow was a character I wanted to know more. More. The Wisconsin connection made me feel close to him for a bit, but then, like the friend who recommended it, I quit. Anyhow. Gaiman wrote a lovely children's book about wolves coming out of the walls. It's too scarry to give to my niece just yet, but he should turn more of his time to that genre.
