Luigi Rovagnati luigicladera — A dog is the narrator, which sounds dumb, but works surprisingly well. I loved it!

Jakub Zieliński jfkzielins31a3 — A wonderfully imaginative book that always manages to not quite be what you'd expect. It starts off as a fantastical steampunk adventure, but as it goes in it becomes more of an interesting study on art, innocence, and destiny. To be honest, the end becomes a bit unsettling (acid is casually thrown into a woman's face, just to warn you), but it at least leaves you with some intriguing ideas to ponder over.

Martin You designedbymartin — This book is awesome. If John Steinbeck had read this, he might have been able to write a good book, and not the red pony.

Alvie J _lvie_arcia — I think this one was the best of the series so I pumped it up to a "4" although take it with a grain of salt.

Alessandro Descovi descovifb16 — The story arc just isn't enough to interest me. There are brief moments, descriptions, that are interesting, but I really dislike the romance. The power structure is sexist, and though I know some women melt for a man who dominates, I find it a turn-off. Big time. Possessive can be acceptable sometimes, tempered with rationality, but ownership - not hot.

Hussam Alhadi ihussd — Good. Harrowing. But, maybe a little too...sentimental/self-aware/deliberately tear-jerking?
