Sonson Choe moroya — The Scott Pilgrim series is the first Graphic Novel books I've ever read. I'm happy to say that I haven't been disappointed. The whole book reminds me of one of my friends. She is wacky and crazy and the wording he uses the novel sounds as if it's coming straight from my friends mouth. Maybe that's why I love these so much.

Mohammed Zubair amzubair — I enjoy books about time travel. The concept amuses me. But I felt that this book could have done so much more. Maybe that is what the next books in the series are for. However, I am not planning on reading them. The pace is a little slow for my tastes and some sections were not for me either. What I learned from this book 1. you know true love when you find it and 2. modern medicine is amazing.

Marissa Rivera pearlphoenix — Maeve Binchy never disappoints. Just as with her other books, I was drawn into the lives of Minding Frankie's characters from page one and was sad to bid them farewell when I reached the end. I anxiously await her next novel.

Kristof Orts adifferentdesign — One of the more interesting moments in the story was when Cincinnatus' mother (or someone pretending to be her) visits him in prison. She tells him about 'nonnons' which she had as a child - ugly warped objects that you held up to an ugly warped mirror so that their reflection then looked beautiful and like a recognizable object. This was an important theme. Throughout the story, Cincinnatus has a 'double' - another Cincinnatus who does/says what he really wants to while he does/says what he is supposed to. His double leaves the prison to go home, moves the bolted down table, and dances with the jailer, among other things. His crime is also interesting; he's accused of 'gnostical turpitude' which seems to me being too hungry for knowledge and seeking it out. I enjoyed this book and the length (short) was just right. It's interesting how Nabokov's alternate worlds (here and also in Ada) are only a little different from reality, or different in ways that most writers ignore. It's very subtle. Themes: reality, knowledge, doubleness, questioning things, dangers of celebrating irrationality

Rockaille Architects rockaille — I liked the concept of the story but thought this book was a bit boring in many spots. It dragged on a bit for me.
