Julien Bartoleschi bartoleschi — Unlike the quote on the front of the book assured me, I just couldn't root for a heroine who is having an affair with her best friend's fiance - no matter how horrid her best friend is. And talk about a guy who is missing his cojones. If you know you're in love with someone else, then suck it up, be a man and dump the person you're with. There's a right way to do things folks. GRANTED, I couldn't bring myself to finish the book (I was too disgusted with the characters and it was too dirty), so there is a slim chance the characters redeemed themselves, but if it ended like the movie, then no, they didn't.

Mauricio Zapata zdmauro — Loved this book from the beginning straight till the end. It was reminiscent of Mariana but with a different twist on it. Susanna Kearsley is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. I keep devouring her books like they're candy. This one struck a special cord though - I think everyone would like to believe there's a true story lurking somewhere in their "imagined" stories.

Mariam Raafat mariamraaf8e19 — The youngest of the Dolan sisters, expecting to be funny. Her stories of promoting this book on teh Satellite Sisters radio show pod casts were hilarious.

Luke Tomkinson luketomkinson — Navy SEAL Ken Karmody accompanies Savannah von Hopf to Jakarta to rescue her uncle. If she'd have been up front with him about getting his address from his ex-girlfriend, he'd have even done so willingly. Interspersed with excerpts from her grandmother's memoirs about her role as a double agent in WWII, they are quickly thrust into a life or death struggle against the rain forest and tribal gangs.

Yngvar Ness _ngnes — A nice tie-in to the Elric and Corum stories.

Ion Andrei _artist — Ellen, girl, what are you doing? Letting your little brother watch Family Guy? You need to exercise the elder sister's crack hand of discerning taste.

Alejandro Ruiz garabossjd355 — Such an amazing book. I love the formalities of the rich and powerful, it transfers you to a different time. This book glamorizes good, which is not something you find all the time. I loved this book and is truly one of my favorites. It strengthens faith, and hastens feelings of righteousness. A wonder to read, if you have the time.
