Jive Lau jivelau — I really enjoyed the quirky characters in this book. I didn't "like" some of them, but I found them all interesting.

Cristina Gago crisgagoo329ac — I have decided to lay this one to rest. I just can't get through it. I was hoping that this book would focus on the colorful personalities of the founding fathers, but instead it is pure military history, which has never been one of my interests. McCullough really excels in the character sketches of the major players of 1776, on both sides of the war, particularly in his portrayal of General George Washington, who is fast becoming a hero of mine. However, these interesting bits were too few and far in between for my liking. Only very rarely do I give up on a book halfway through, but this one is just wasted on me. I've pretty much been spacing out in the car the entire time I was supposed to be listening. 'tis a shame, I was really looking forward to boosting my knowledge of American history.

Alex Suon topdawg — Sí que vengo atrasado con las reviews. Este tomo lo leí hace más de dos semanas y recién ahora lo reseño. Después me tengo que acordar de hacer lo mismo con los otros 5 tomos que ya llevo leídos (más algún otro de otra serie que seguramente estoy olvidando). Yendo a la historia en sí, no es el tomo que más me entretuvo, pero mantiene el puntaje porque acá se comienza a mostrar cómo funca la alquimia de oriente, toda la teoría de las venas del dragón, y meten un cacho más de metafísica en el contexto general del mundo FMA. También gana por la inserción de la hermana de Armstrong, que aunque al principio es bastante asquerosa, se va volviendo un personaje clave en tomos posteriores. Cuando me dé el tiempo y recuerde de qué iba, seguro escriba las reviews siguientes.
