George Sklavounos jorjevio1d9c — Anthology of Vampire stories based on Vampire: The Dark Ages. While I love the idea, I just couldn't get into these. The first three that I read were fine, but they didn't particularly stick with me. Maybe I just wasn't in the mood.

Agata Welpa agatawelpa — My son, a Sr. at Middlebury College brought this book home over Christmas break. Shane, (the author) had spoken at Middlebury during a "homeless awareness" week. The last book my son brought home was Blue Like Jazz. If you liked that you will probably like this. Makes you think seriously about your everyday walk with Christ. It's honest, refreshing, challenging and very thought provoking. Easy to read but you need a while to digest each chapter. I wanted my friends to read it so i could get their perspectives on some of his points. Great discussion material.

Yor Blu yorblu — It's hard to come back to this after reading so much Other Nabokov. Other Nabokov remains untainted by all the disclaimers and "okay, but"'s heaped on this particular book. If I could take it out of time and history, I would love it more. (Dumb. I am a New Critic at heart.)

Evelyn Yu fatchick2080 — The first book in the Vampire Chronicles is the best. I like these books because unlike other stories where the vampires are just simple evil creatures of the night, in Rice's books they are "normal" people who gradually lose their humanity when they become immortal. Though enjoying the taste of blood doesn't help the situation.

Chu Feng feng_chuyun — Back to training... would be keen for the series to revisit some of the other characters e.g. Hinata, etc..

Katherine Niu freakishlykatherine — Recommended for everyone who is interested in Anne Frank. Although this doesn't say much about her, it's more like a description about the war time and the encounters with Otto Frank. It was interesting to get another point of view to the days.
