Aiste Butleryte aiskreem — What makes this such a great read is the historical (very well researched) combined with the humor (in rather dangerous circumstances - i.e. The Spanish Inquisition) AND the love story which was totally hot and heavy and tender and lovely and ends so terribly, terribly wrong!

Shiqi Wu _ushiqi — *sigh* I don't really know where to start except that I love Mercy Thompson. Right now I'm leaving it at that because I have to process this book some more. Let's just say that we meet a lot of new characters and they are very....interesting. I did miss all the old ones though, but it was to be expected with all the changes and events going on in Mercy's life. I'm hoping in the next book she sticks closer to home and we get to see a lot more of Stefan and Warren. I also hope we get some more Sam too because he wasn't in this book at all. But, that would be my only real complaint is that I missed Warren and Stefan. We get to see a lot of Adam and that I thoroughly enjoyed *wink wink*
