Alexander Malchenko malchenko — **SPOLIER**I am not going to say that I didn't enjoy this book because I really did, it was an interesting story and had some really funny parts. But did did it bother anyone else that the white main character, Skeeter, basically took an idea from Aibileen's dead son and Aibileen wrote more of the book and helped her edit the majority of it to yet Skeeter's character was thinking she was the author (if only in her mind)? I know she shared the proceeds but she thought she was the author. It really bothered me. If it had been addressed in the book someway it wouldn't have bothered me so much. But oh no it didn't bother the maid? I don't know, it irked me a lot.

Zack Darling zackdarling — A very interesting book that was hard to put down. This is not your typical novel about the Holocaust. It is a heart-breaking rememberance of a young boy's imprisonment and survival, but also tells the story of what happened to him after gaining his freedom and reuniting with his mother. To have survived all that Thomas survived is amazing, but it was very inspiring and up-lifting to see how well his life continued and how much he valued and cherished his freedom. He truly went on to live his life and to make a difference for others.

Maxim Bielievtsov _egcuba — If you are feeling like you need some positivity in your life then this is the book for you. I think it's target audience is younger than myself but it has introduced me to some tools which have assisted my daily living.
