I am a huge animal lover, all animals (except spiders yeah get those away from me) and this is a wonderful book for animal lovers. It's the tale of a family with a dog, how the dog changes the family and even if the dog misbehaved and ruined some things, he was still a member of the family with a fierce loyalty to the family. I hate when people treat animals like they are something they can throw away. Animals are sometimes way better than people and deserve all the love. This story makes me laugh, cry, and make me miss my littler fur balls. I lost 3 of my pets in less than a year, each one extremely hard on me and I felt so emotionally drained after each one and it's nice to read a story where I am able to remember the good and bad from each pet and read that someone went through the same emotions I went through for each lost. 5/5
