Mark Abrahams markabrahams — I loved this book. Bryson's tales of his father's cheapness and fascination with long car trips to places that have very limited historical significance were eerily reminiscent of our family vacations when I was a kid. I about peed a few times when he absolutely nailed what it was like to visit places like the Henry Ford museum, Wall Drug, and Gatlinburg. While his cynicism is apparently too biting for some readers, all I would suggest is to lighten up - this book is flat out funny and very real.

Sane Louw sanelouw — Oh My Gosh! An amazing book that I couldn't put down. The story was so tragic and I love the way she connected it to all the characters. It was so historic, I never knew France was involved in the Concentration Camps... never even thought it. I learned something knew, and I love that when that happens. The story took you through a emotional roller coaster(at least if you get emotional in books, I know I sure can!) and it kept you turning the page till the very last, and craving for more. I congratulate Tatiana on her success! What a beautiful and tragic story. Oh, and I love your name!!

Jessica Castle jessicacastle — I'm rereading this series. I recently realized that I had finally forgotten enough about them to make a return trip to the Old Kingdom. I just finished Sabriel last night. My pulse was racing, and chills were going up and down my spine as I cowered with Sabriel and Touchstone in the reservoir, surrounded by The Dead. I had forgotten how truly exciting and frightening the Abhorsen Trilogy is. Lucky me to get a chance to experience them all over again!
