Waithian Leong waithian331 — i remember when i talked to my parents about INTO THE WILD, they were kind shocked and surprised that i would read this kind of book. they reminded me that this is just a story, never follow what Alex did. i guess they must feel that i will do the same thing when i grow up. traveling around and meet different people is a really common dream or goal for a lot of people, but did the dream ever came true? how many of us thought we were going to travel around the world but didn't? for me, dream is not only a dream, but some thing need to come true. maybe INTO THE WILD doesn't talk a lot about a life goal or dream, but it make me think about this topic. and also, do whatever you want to do instead of what you should do, like Alex. In this way, i'll have no regret in my life.
