Chele Monstruos chelemonstruos — Excellent story. Loved Jeremy and Wallace. The twists and turns were intriguing and definitely kept my attention. Really enjoyed it!

Quinteala Meadows _uinteala_eadows — Good continuing story of Vic and Jacob. Vic's world is about to get quite complicated and involve Jacob in a way he is not going to see coming. I read the first PsyCop quite a while ago so it took me a little bit to get back into this world. I like how this author creates MC which has a distinctive voice and experience - they are not like the other. The sex is hot between Vic & Jacob but I'm still not quite sure why they are together as, other than that, they don't seem to really "mesh" but there is chemistry. The action was good even though it concluded in kind of a quick rush - but it was satisfactory.

Mauricio Sanchez chingon102879b9 — Actually kind of a crappy story, but the idea is fantastic: a world in which time is moving backwards. People begin their lives buried in cemeteries and have to be dug up before they suffocate. They regurgitate their food and put it back in the refrigerator. Before they get into bed every morning, they use a razor which puts stubble on their faces and legs. People get younger and younger and eventually turn into babies and crawl into their mothers. Nine months later (or earlier) their mothers have to find someone to have sex with and take their semen back. The backwards world is all done very well. The best bit though is the Library, which is a massive, shadowy, and sinister bureaucracy whose mission it is to collect all of the inventions and ideas and ensure that, when their time comes, they disappear. The Children's Department is their elite hit team: freaky little kids with lasers that do all the Library's dirty work. This is all immensely entertaining for librarians like me. I barely remember the plot of this book, and remember finding the end extremely disappointing. That granted, this is still a really fun read, just for the conceit of it all. It stands as perfectly serviceable early Dick.
