Rob Alcantar brandrobear — Firstly love Douglas Adams, having finished 'Hitch' et al, was thrilled to learn that he had written the Dirk Gentlys'. Having said all this I didn't get into it straight away but, and I don't want to give too much away, there is this fantastic 'penny dropping' moment, like when the clues of a cryptic crossword slot into place and you're left with that smug satisfied feeling. Read it. You won't be disappointed.

Emmanuel Martin emmanuelmartin — This is a great story about a girl who got trapped in a marraige at a young age and when she manages to get out of that one she fines herself married again but this time to a tall dark and handsome- straight guy(: Who has the family she's always wanted.

고 지은 kyra663f — I am fortunate to work in a bookstore and had acess to the galley of this book. I had been waiting for this book ever since the author started mentioning it on Facebook. I read it in one sitting yesterday evening; it was that good ! The premise might be off-putting to some. The novel is set in the future where a virus is rampant that makes almost everyone infertile around the age of 18. Therefore teens are being forced or "choose" to become surrogates to provide couples with children and keep the population going. I found this novel extremely well written and despite the future premise, it was relateable the present day. Some of these teens are compensated highly for their "deliveries" while others not so much. It kind of makes you think of the success of shows like "Teen Mom" which pay it's "stars" for their "reality" of being a teenage mother while real-life teen moms struggle to pay the bills and get by. This is entertaining read but will definitely make you think. The cliff-hanger ending sets up for the sequel which I can't wait for.
