Gihoon Hong reminisce — I just finished listening to the latest installment of the Demonica series. I enjoyed the story of Con/Sin, an interesting pairing of the only female Sem and half warg/vampire guy. There was also a nice preview of Larissa's next book, Eternal Rider on the audio book. The details: Narrator: my least favorite of the three narrator chosen for these books so far. She sounded a little too sweet to be Sin, not enough sarcasm. Dirty: Very dirty :), like the other Demonica's this doesn't disappoint in the "situations" category. There are plenty,not just with Con/Sin but some of the side characters in the book which in my opinion keeps it interesting. Standout scene: There is a situation with snow...I would have never thought of but Larissa went there.

On the private island of Iakovos Papaioannou sparks fly between Harry and the handsome billionaire. Though not his usual type Iakovos cannot resist the striking Amazon anymore than she can resist the world's number five most eligible bachelor. But can she take him off the marriage market? I liked reading It's All Greek To Me, but Katie MacAlister is one of those authors I need to be in the right mood for. On good days I find her very funny, but on bad days her invariably silly female main characters get on my nerves. Keeping this in mind I waited for the right moment and ended up wondering why I waited so long to read this book! Harry is another one of those typical MacAlister main characters with many good qualities yet somehow still a bit silly. The fact that Harry cannot remember how to pronounce or spell Iakovos Papaioannou is a bit unbelievable yet described in such a funny way that I managed to let it pass. Granted, it is not the easiest name, but by the end of the book she still had not managed the feat and that is ridiculous when a woman is supposed to be intelligent. It's easy to understand why Harry falls for Iakovos, who would not like a Greek God like that? The secondary characters like Theo, Elena and Dmitri are very nicely worked out as well. Especially Theo, whose alcohol consumption does not have a positive effect on his behaviour. It's All Greek To Me is not an action-packed rollercoaster ride with a lot of depth, but if you like a light, fun romance with the occasional silliness -which I do at times- it is a good book to choose.
