Laetitia Saren _aetitia_aren — This book is an inspiration for anyone who cares about early childhood, multicultural, or ESL education. It's essentially Sylvia Ashton Warner's diary from the many years that she spent teaching Maori children. She was an incredibly innovative woman who cared deeply about the well-being of her disadvantaged students and who did her best to tailor education individually to the needs of each child. Her ideas were unfortunately not only ahead of her time, but still ahead of ours.

Michele Roget michele1bea — I think it's original, that's really the bottom line. The world he creates is vivid and extraordinary and I love it. My personal asthetic leans towards alternatre worlds and stuggles against totalitarianism, and this book hits both. It's a good middle school read, nothing too challenging but at that point where themes start to have depth. I really liked the whole series.

Aleksandar Velinov _3nd3r_an — This book was so boring I didn't finish it and that is unusual for me.

Kenan Softic kenansofti905a — I'll have to read more John Irving. Writing a book that spans generations must be very difficult, but he pulls it off flawlessly. The characters are very alive and the setting is entirely absorbing and believable. He tackles some tough social issues as well and does it tactfully and intelligently. I got more than I bargained for with this book.
