Rodrigo Macedo rodrigobarba — Excellent story about life on the Great Plains. I thoroughly enjoyed her inclusion/praise of minorities, her strong feminist main character, and the respect for the land and the animals. Truly ahead of her time. Or perhaps more accurately, civilization is the one lacking behind.

張 晉瑋 jacky603052ef5 — Why do I feel like bashing my head against the wall? The story was going great in the first two books...I even dreamed about the characters. I couldn't stop thinking about them because they were that catchy...and OMG! REN! And in this book you killed it. The main character was stuck in a paradox so many freaking times, I wanted to jump in the book, pull her by her hair and throw her to the moon, then RUN to REN and make him mine forever. Colleen, why the ending? The book went so freakin slow...twenty thousand words HAD to be wasted on Kelsey's "MMMM REN IS SO GOOD" OR "HE HURT ME AND I WILL HURT HIM BACK" moments. So you just like RUSHED the ending...killing me!!! If you want to write a good book, you might as well give it your best, just a hint!

Victor Saliba victorsaliba — I really dig Alan Watts as a philosopher, perhaps his life might inspire a few revelation of my own.

Joleen Hill _oleen_ill — This is a great collection of short stories by an amazing writer. David Levithan is able to show and convey that love just is. Sometimes it lasts, sometimes it doesn’t, sometimes it’s easy, sometimes it’s not, but it exists all the same. Some of my favorite stories were (in order of appearance): “Starbucks Boy”, “Miss Lucy Had A Steamboat”, “The Number Of People That Meet On Airplanes”, “Princes”, and “Skipping The Prom”. I also really liked “Without Saying”. It was mysterious and confusing in the best way possible. As soon as I finished, I went back and read it over again. Overall, if you’re looking for a story with heart, there is a good chance you’ll find that story in this collection. I urge anyone who believes that love can defy gender, age, and sexuality to check this book out because as Levithan himself puts it: “It doesn’t have to be on Valentine’s Day. It doesn’t have to be by the time you turn eighteen or thirty-three or fifty-nine. It doesn’t have to conform to whatever is usual. It doesn’t have to be kismet at once, or rhapsody by the third date. It just has to be. In time. In place. In spirit. It just has to be.”

Josef Ludvík j_l_b — Sam Spade is a great character. He's tough as nails. The ending came abruptly and I didn't expect the plot to be so twisted. Hammett's descriptive writing style makes it easy for the reader to visualize the scenes and people.
