Sandra Galvagny sgalvagny — I am not sure where I am at on this book. It started out a bit hokey. I didn't really believe that if a straight guy and a gay guy were held together in a room that they would really take on the attitude of "Well, while we are here, there is something that I have always wanted to try." The story changed a bit and lead into something that was a lot more believeable, and I believe that is what held me for the rest of the book. I would recommend the book based on, once you get past the beginning, the book isn't bad. Happy Reading!

Sophie Van sophievanassche — Finally done! We read this one out loud, so it took a while. I still like his evo-devo book (Endless Forms Most Beautiful) better, but this covers similar topics, with more of a focus on the evidence for evolution. Carroll ends both books with a discussion on why it is important to properly understand evolution. We've drawn a number of examples from both books for the evo-devo unit we'll be piloting in the spring, so excited to see how that goes.
