Alex Berini _lex_erini — A short pleasant read about a neurotic Santa Monica dweller and his journey back to a functional life with a loving wife and child. A delightful cast of characters unknowingly help him shed his neuroses and we come to now Daniel Cambridge as an eccentric man who cares deeply about those near to him.

Bayne Peterson baynepeterson — I like Poe's stories and certain of his poems, but "Philosophy of Furniture" is by far the best thing in here. I laughed, I cried, I discovered that "the Dutch have an indeterminate idea that a curtain is not a cabbage."

Carlos Perez carloseperez — Book of short stories. Science fiction/speculative fiction seems to be the genre. Eskridge is a glorious writer, subtle, and writing about things that I didn't even know about myself until I found them in her words. I was nodding and saying, "Yes, that's me, too." In my opinion, the best writers open up new understandings or awarenesses of the self and world. She is one of those writers.

Asad Ali asadalis1112 — It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't particularly brilliant, either. I wish it had been better, because there were some very good moments, but there was so much of it that was either unnecessary or flat-out boring. It certainly kept me interested because I read to the end, but there were a few moments where I had to put it down because of the almost absurd cliches or poor editing. It's not a bad story, but I won't read it again.

Yuki Nakamichi nkmc0817 — This book was set not in 3 Pines, but nearby and fetured the family of one of the regular cast from 3P. We saw a new side of Beauvoir, which I liked.

Piotr Siudaj _io_iu — I would never normally pick up a sci-fi book, but this one is great!
